Hablando en castúo...

Esta era la joyita que nos quedó por recitar el pasado viernes. Se trata de una poesía en castúo del escritor extremeño Luis Chamizo . Los lectores...Abraham, Daniel y Laia de 2º y 3º de ed. primaria.Lo han hecho más que bien!!

La Patarrona.

Semana del carnaval y como siempre...ha vuelto la Patarrona, esa señora mayor con 5 piernas que nos dice cómo nos tenemos que vestir durante la semana del Carnaval. El viernes, volvió al cole para quedarse toda la semana( porque ella ya sabe que aquí es muy bien recibida...)y nos dijo que hoy deberíamos llevar una gran pajarita de colores vivos. Y así es como cada uno vino al cole con su pajarita.

Carnival weel and as always happends....La Patarrona returned, that old woman with five legs who tells us what we have to wear during the carnival week. On friday, she came back to school to stay with us all the week( because she knows we are very pleased to receive her here)and she told us that today we should wear a big colourful bow. And this is the way we came to school with our bow.

El aparato circulatorio

Este vídeo es para los alumnos de 5º que están viendo el aparato respiratorio y el aparato circulatorio. He encontrado este vídeo en youtube y cumple con los dos requisitos principales para que se quede en" nuestras cabecitas": es breve y tiene dibujos. Espero que por fin aclare las dudas que tenemos sobre este tema.

This video is for pupils of 5th year; they are studying the conduction system .I found this video in youtube and it fulfills with two of the most important requirements for a child to stay " in our heads": it is short and it has pictures. I hope we can solve all our doubts about this topic.

25 de febrero :Día del estatuto de autonomía de Extremadura

Tal día como hoy de hace 28 años( uff, cuánto tiempo!!) Extremadura fue reconococida como una comunidad autónoma dentro del territorio español, con nuestras costumbres, historia , cultura... e incluso nuestro propio vocabulario.
Para hacer conscientes a los niños de este hecho ( SOMOS EXTREMADURA, como dice el eslogan ) hemos llevado a cabo una serie de actividades a todos los niveles:
-Los niños de educación infantil nos bailaron una jota, olé!
-Los alumnos de 2º y 3º nos dieron una lección de historia explicándonos la simbología de nuestro escudo.
-Los mayores elaboraron una presentación sobre nuestra región.
Además, Alexandra nos trajo migas!!! uhmmm...qué ricas( bueno...eso creemos porque a las maestras no nos tocaron...debían de estar buenísimas porque no sobró ni una ). Hay que decir, que la tutoría de Esther queda pendiente de leer una poesía del genial poeta Luis Chamizo, pero eso será el lunes porque hoy ya no ha dado para más...Hasta el lunes y buen fin de semana a todos!!
28 years ago ( uff, so much time ago!)Extremadura was recognised as an autonomous community inside Spain, with our own traditions, history, culture...and even, our own vocabulary.
In order to make our pupils conscius about this fact ( WE ARE EXTREMADURA, as the slogan says)we developed some activities in all levels:
-Children of pre-primary education danced jota, olé!
-Pupils of 2nd and 3rd year taugh us about history explaining the symbols in the crest.
-The eldest made a slide presentation about our region.
Besides, Alexandra cooked migas!!!uhmm....delicious!!!( I mean...they must be delicious because, we, the teachers didn´t taste them, they must be really nice because there wasn´t any left in the end). We also need to say that Esther´s pupils will read a poetry by Luis Chamizo, but it will be next monday because we ran out of time today...See you on monday and good weekend to everybody!!

La primavera...nos acelera!!

Es verdad el viejo dicho..." La primavera...la sangre altera!".Sí, sí...muy cierto, estamos todos mucho más activos y contentos desde que tenemos estos días de sol y buenas temperaturas. El viejo cerezo chino del patio ya está floreciendo y los niños pueden jugar al aire libre en los recreos.A partir de ahora todo cambia y sólo podemos esperar la llegada de la primavera el próximo mes.
It is true the old saying..." Spring is in the air" Yes, yes,...completely true, we are all much more active and happy since we are having these sunny and warm days.The old chinese cherry tree of our playground has already flowers and the children can play outside during the breaks. From now everything is changing and only can expect the spring arrival next month.

Una nueva sección:Una poesía semanal

Me encantan las poesías infantiles y me gustaría transmitiros ese mismo gusto a vosotros también , por eso... he decidido crear una nueva sección : Una poesía semanal!! Y para inaugurar este espacio , por supuesto, no podía empezar sino con una poesía de la gran Gloria Fuertes, una genial poetisa gallega que dedicó gran parte de su vida a escribir divertidas poesías para niños. Ésta que os dejo todavía permanece en mi memoria desde que era como vosotros e iba al cole.Espero que os guste.;D

Ya os hemos anticipado cómo va la historia que están escribiendo los niños del cole... y esto está muy interesante, no creéis? El lunes Roberto le pasó el maletín de Candela a Andrea que ahora debe continuar con las aventuras de la Nube Pika, el Rayo Pelayo y el Trueno Bolón.

We have just read in advance the story our pupils are writing...and it is very interesting, don't you think so? On Monday Roberto passed Andrea Candela's schoolbag and now she must continue with the aventures of Pika the cloud, Pelayo the lightning and Bolón de thunder.

El lunes pasado Abraham nos trajo el maletín viajero y se lo entregó a Roberto y su familia a la salida del colegio a las 14,00h.Candela sigue viajando por las casas de los niños de Valdastillas y éstos continúan escribiendo su historia. Qué pasará? Cómo se desarrollarán las aventuras de su cuento? Todas estas respuestas ...al final del libro.
Last Monday, Abraham brought the travelling case to school and gave it to Roberto and his family at 2 o´clock when we have finished the classes. Candela keeps on visiting Valdastillas children´s houses and they are writing her story. What will happen? How will this tale adventures go? The answer to these questions....at the end of the book.

Se acabó el tiempo! Time's out!

Se acabó el tiempo y los pollitos no nacen...hoy hemos comprobado con una linterna cómo estaban los huevos y a pesar de que en la mayoría se veía una gran mancha negra( síntoma inequívoco de que hay un pollito) creemos que algo ha ido mal durante la gestación y puede que estén muertos . Ohhh!! qué lástima, nuestro experimento no ha funcionado!Con las ganas que teníamos... Igualmente vamos a esperar un poco más, pero si el lunes no han salido, tendremos que abrirlos :(
Time's out and our chickens weren't born...today we checked with a lantern if the eggs were ok and although most of them had a big black spot inside ( inequivocal sign there is a chick inside them) we think something went wrong during the process and maybe they are dead. Ohhh! what a pity, our experiment didn't work! All our hopes spoiled...anyway, we are waiting a little bit more, but if next monday they aren't born we will have to break the eggs :(

Los viajes de Candela ( Candela´s travels)

El tiempo vuela!Ya ha pasado una semana y hoy Nora y su familia han pasado el relevo de la cartera viajera a Abraham y la suya. Candela nos ha dicho que se ha sentido muy cómoda con la familia de Nora y que a Nora le han gustado los libros que había seleccionado de nuestra biblioteca.También ha visto los dvd! Esperamos que Abraham disfrute igual. Bueno, ya nos contarás, ánimo y a viajar!!

Time runs away! One week has passed and today Nora and her family "passes the relay" of the travelling case to Abraham and his family. Candela told us she felt very comfortably with Nora´s family and that Nora loved the books she has previously selected from our school library. She also watched the dvd!! We hope Abraham enjoy this week as well. Well, you will tell us , cheer up and keep on travelling!!

Estamos de cumple!!

Hoy nuestro blog cumple 2 añitos y queremos cantarle el cumpleaños feliz!! Sí, porque estamos felices( de que sigamos después de este tiempo) y seguimos con la misma ilusión y las mismas ganas de contar todas las actividades que nos pueden resultar interesantes y que nos gustaría recordar en el tiempo en este pequeño colegio del Valle del Jerte. Felicidades Colevaldastillas!!

Today is our blog´s second birthday and we want to sing it " Happy birthday"!Yes, because we are happy ( after all this time) and we still have the same illusion and the same desire to show here all our interesting activities which we would like to remember through the time in this small school of the Jerte Valley. Congratulations Colevaldastillas!!

La expresión del día: " pingando"

Pingando:

1. que "baila", que se mueve mucho. Ejemplo: Este jersey me está pingando.
2.mojado o húmedo. Ejemplo: Te has puesto pingando!!
3.criticar o hablar mal de alguien. Ejemplo: Nada más salir por la puerta le pusieron pingando.

El maletín de Candela. ( Candela's schoolbag)

Esta semana Candela nos ha propuesto comenzar una nueva aventura: su maletín viajero. El maletín viajero no es más que un bolso en el que hay un par de libros para cada grupo de edad ( educación infantil, primer y segundo ciclo y tercer ciclo)y un par de dvd didácticos sobre los animales .Con su " viaje" por las casas de todos los niños del cole pretendemos implicar a los padres en una actividad de fomento de la lectura además de la creación de una historia o cuento inventada y continuada por los mismos niños. Esta semana es el turno de Nora y su familia, que la devolverán el próximo lunes junto con el comienzo de la historia. Buen viaje y a escribir!!
This week , Candela proposed us to begin a new adventure: The travelling schollbag. The travelling schoolbag is just a bag which contains a pair of books for each group ( young learners, 1st and 2nd cycle and 3rd cycle) and a couple of educational dvd about animals. With" this journey " passing a few days in every children house we pretend to encourage parents in a reading activity besides the creation of a story or tale invented and continued by themselves. This week it is Nora's family turn , and they will return it next monday together with the beginning of the story. Good journey and let's start writting!!
